A Nation Bringing Forth Fruit
Psalm 44
1 We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.
2 How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
3 For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
4 Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
This web page has been created at the direction of the Spirit of God. It is according to His purposes and for His Honor, and His Glory. It has been spoken that the United States of America is not a Christian nation. Much has been documented about the people God sent to found this nation and their writings declare that to be a false statement. Many of the historical accounts on this site come from actual letters and diaries of participants or eye-witnesses to the events documented. Others are compiled histories and collaborations of early historians whom God gave the wisdom to preserve what they found written or had been told. Little commentary is necessary, for the words of the people God sent to bring forth a Nation speak for themselves. |
