Presidential Election - November 4, 2008
Posted: November 5, 2008
In January 2008, God directed me to go to my house on Saturday afternoons and evenings and pray about the elections of the United States. On January 5, a Saturday afternoon, I was watching a newscast reporting on presidential primaries. While they were talking about John McCain, it seemed to me that the mind of God was that John McCain was his man to be president of the United States, and I still believe that. The next week, McCain won the New Hampshire primary and everything else is evident to all how he won the nomination for the Republican Party. I personally thought that Giuliani would be the nominee, because of his handling of the New York City disaster on September 11, 2001. If I get further understanding about what has happened I will let you know. There is some information that I will remind you of, Gerald Ford was the only president of the United States that was not elected by the people, but was set up by God. The citizens of the United States did not want Ford they wanted Jimmy Carter, who gave us 18 to 21 percent interest rates and inflation.
As I said for months, I do not vote in the elections, nor do I recommend that any one vote or not vote. I do not endorse any candidate for any office, but will speak what the Lord tells me to speak. I thank God for President-elect Obama, but as God has said, he will have God's hand upon him, because of all the promises that he has made to God's people that he cannot fulfill.
God bless you,

For a few days before the election, I was in a great wrestling match about whether John McCain was going to be president of the United States. By Sunday, I was almost convinced that America was not going to accept him as the president. On Sunday night as I was reading Psalm 105, when I read verses 21 and 22, "He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance: v.21 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom." v.22, the Lord quickened (made alive) these two verses to me. I knew God was saying to me that I had authority with our government, and that our ministry could dictate God's will to be performed through our government. I was greatly relieved to know that God had been ordering my steps throughout this entire ordeal. It is reported by the news that Rahm Emanuel has been offered the chief of staff to President-elect Obama. This is a great encouragement to my spirit that the offer has been made.
God bless you,

It is clear to me in the Spirit that President George Bush bears part of the responsibility for the financial collapse in the United States of America. When George Bush denied that God set him up as president of the United States, God denied him. Matthew 10:33 says, "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." In April 2004, a book entitled "The Faith of George Bush," was published and this book was published to lead the American people to believe that George Bush was a man of faith. However, when it came time to live by faith, George Bush denied the faith.
The Lord spoke to me early Sunday morning telling me to speak to President-elect Obama, that His hand was upon him and His hand was against him, because he had lied to God's people making them promises that he could not perform. Because of the promises made by President-elect Obama that cannot be kept (saith the Lord), he also bears part of the responsibility for the financial collapse in the United States of America. God's judgment is upon President Bush and President-elect Obama and upon all of America for trusting in the government to supply our needs and not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
God bless you,
