Jehovah's Servants Hate His Enemies

Posted February 22, 2007

He that hath ears to hear let him hear what the Spirit of God is saying. The following passages of scripture are written for your consideration. They are translations from King James Version, the Interlinear Bible by Hendrickson, and the New International Version.

The words of David recorded in Psalm 139:17-24, "How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! v.17 (KJV)

And how precious are your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! v.17 (Interlinear)

How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! v.17 (NIV)

If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. v.18 (KJV)

If I should count them, they are more than the sand; when I awake I am still with You. v.18  (Interlinear)

Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you. v.18 (NIV)

Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men. v.19 (KJV)

Surely You will slay the wicked, O God; and bloody men, depart from me. v.19 (Interlinear)

If only you would slay the wicked, O God! Away from me, you bloodthirsty men! v.19 (NIV)

For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain. v.20 (KJV)

Who will maliciously speak against You? Your enemies are lifted up with vanity. v.20 (Interlinear)

They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name. v.20 (NIV)

Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? v.21 (KJV)

O Jehovah, do not I hate those hating You? And am I not detesting those rising against You? v.21 (Interlinear)

Do I not hate those who hate you, O Lord, and abhor those who rise up against you? v.21 (NIV)

I hate them with perfect (complete) hatred: I count them mine enemies. v.22 (KJV)

I hate them with a perfect (complete) hatred; they have become my enemies. v.22 (Interlinear)

I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies. v.22 (NIV)

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: v.23 (KJV)

Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts; v.23 (Interlinear)

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. v.23 (NIV)

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. v.24 (KJV)

And see if any wicked way is in me; and lead me in the way everlasting. v.24  (Interlinear)

See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." v.24 (NIV)

During 27 years of public ministry, my words spoken by the Spirit of God have been greatly challenged by the Baptist people. They have lied and attacked me, accused me, judged me, and condemned me. Baptist have been more vicious than any other group of people. It has taken me 27 years for God to perfect (complete) my faith and my love to be able to walk against these attacks. (see Ephesians 6:11-20)

God bless you,
