Continual Praise
Posted: August 10, 2009
The Word of God instructs us on how to live a life of victory. It is done by praise.
Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. (Psalm 106:47)
Jesus himself praised God in Hell and was delivered.
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. (Psalm 22:1-3)
King David appointed singers to worship God in the tabernacle. They were set to worship God day and night. There was never a moment praises were not being offered up to the Lord.
And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy. (1 Chronicles 15:16)
And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night. (1 Chronicles 9:33)
Behold, bless ye the LORD, all ye servants of the LORD, which by night stand in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD. The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion. (Psalm 134:1-3)
Water of Life is now a place where the praises of God are heard continually, not only in our evening services and daily operations, but also in the night hours. Our security staff continues to offer up praises with our worship tapes and their own voices throughout the night. The sound of worship is heard even on the building grounds continuously. We are constantly living in great expectation and the manifestation of the power of God.
God bless you,
