Jesus Triumphed Over the Masonic Lodge
When a person believes this gospel and walks in it, they will have to overcome the bondage's in their life and the curses on their life that have come because of disobedience and unbelief against God. These bondage's and curses have come from things that you and/or family members have been involved in. You will also come to see that it will not be a one time overcoming of these things, but it will be a process. Salvation is a process.
There are many things I have been delivered from over the years, and I am still overcoming the works of those spirits in my life. As you continue to pray and believe the gospel, God will bring these things up out of your heart. People are deceived by thinking that if they were delivered one time of something, that is the end of it. It would be nice if that were so. But there are specific incidences of things that I absolutely know that God has delivered me from, and I am still overcoming the works, or the damage that those spirits did to my soul.
The Masonic Lodge, along with medicine, have been big one's in my life - and I was not even a Mason (it is for men) or a physician (my stepfather was). But the spirits behind both of these affected my life.
My dad and both of my grandfathers were in the Masonic Lodge. And God only knows who else down the line was involved in this - but these three I know were. Curses are passed on from the second, third and fourth generations. So you might find it interesting to see what your family members have been involved in. You may be real surprised.
If you want to walk upright in this gospel, though, you will have to overcome the spirits of the world. And it is accomplished by mixing your faith with the gospel. If you don't want to walk upright in this gospel, then you will just close your eyes and say, "Well, I'm not bound by these things and they don't affect me one bit." And God will let you will continue on in your pride and unbelief and you will never enter in to the kingdom of God. Go read Galatians 5 and I Corinthians 6. These works of the flesh shut up the kingdom to you. And I will admit, there have been times where I have had to exercise myself not to be offended over all the bondage's that I have had to continually overcome and put out of my life. And every one of us have been bound by something. But I know it is the mercy and grace of God on my life for me to be able to overcome them. And all of these curses have come because of unbelief and disobedience against God. And we were sure not walking in this gospel while I was growing up.
I have shared this many times, but it is in my spirit now to share again, so I am going to. But within weeks after coming to Water of Life Church (Aug. '85), I heard Doyle talking about the Jezebel spirit one night in bible school. I had never heard about this spirit prior to that time. And as he was describing this spirit, I sat there and said, "I've got that spirit - it definitely has me bound." I did not need to 'ask' anyone if I did, I could see through what was being spoken by the Spirit of God that it had bound me and I was honest about it. This spirit ruled or controlled me through fear. And the fear came because of rebellion against God. Rebellion of not serving God with my spirit in the gospel.
I had fears growing up, but I can relate a specific time in my life where a spirit hit me suddenly one day in school, and the fear that came through that attack grew worse and worse over the years. It happened not too long after my mother had remarried. But I came to see years later (since having this gospel revealed to me and getting some understanding of wicked spirits) that I came under a much stronger and more powerful influence of the Jezebel spirit. It put oppression and fear on me to the degree I had not had before. This spirit came after me in a big way, and quite frankly it progressed and tremendously increased even after coming to Water of Life Church. And the reason being, was because after coming to this ministry I started walking in the Holy Spirit and against this wicked spirit - that spirit being the Jezebel.
Prior to coming here, I knew nothing about my enemy - so there was no way of knowing how to fight something I did not even know existed. I knew nothing about spiritual warfare. When God brought us to this ministry, He, through an apostle and prophet, started destroying and tearing down the false foundation that had been laid in my heart and laying the true foundation - which is Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And with a revelation of the gospel also came understanding of these wicked spirits, and how I would have to use my faith mixed with the gospel to overcome them. And one thing I will say is, these spirits do fight back. But if you keep your heart on the gospel you will always overcome the attack - sometimes not as fast as you would like, but you will overcome if you will stand fast in your believing the gospel.
The attack intensified tremendously in the early '90's. This Jezebel came after me in ways I never would have imagined - using flesh and blood to do so. And I know that Paul said in Ephesians 6 that we do not wrestle with flesh and blood, but with powers, principalities and wicked spirits. I also know that Jesus called 'people' vipers, serpents and hypocrites. I Thessalonians 3:2 says, "And that we may be delivered from unreasonable [absurd] and wicked men: for all have not faith." And even to this very day I am overcoming these things.
Prior to this attack that happened to me in school that day in the early to mid 70's, things like speaking in front of people were never a problem for me. I had been able to give reports in front of classes at my other schools and had been in plays in elementary school without any noticeable fear. But when this spirit hit me that day, and it was a sudden thing, I just started trembling. You talk about a mystery to me - that was. It says in Thessalonians not to be soon shaken by a spirit, but I had no clue about spirits back then. And I will say here, that I have had this same spirit hit me more than once since being at Water of Life - and it was the Jezebel spirit. And it has taken much prayer and faith mixed with the gospel to overcome it every time. This is one wicked spirit. But thank God, Jesus judged it 2000 years ago.
It also describes the Jezebel in Ezekiel 13 - how it makes the heart of the righteous sad through lying divination - flattering spirits, but strengthens the wicked in their wickedness. And this spirit had made my heart sad for years. God started delivering me from the works that that spirit had done to my soul - the soul being the will, intellect and emotions. And I have had to overcome the damage that that spirit did to me.
And then medicine being the other thing I have had to overcome ~ ~ We trusted in doctors and dentists all of our lives. Then my mother married a physician and my dad married a woman who became a registered dietician and the strength of this spirit totally overwhelmed my soul. I had come under a greater degree of this spirit - more of the influence of sorcery and witchcraft, which is all the Jezebel spirit. These people went to school and studied it and then practiced it. And I only lived in the house with my mother and stepfather (the physician) for 5 years or so, and one of those years I was off at college. So it was a short time, but the amount of bondage I came under in that short of time was no small thing.
But back to the Masonic Lodge - a week or so ago, I was just thinking about how that doctors (or any person involved with medicine) and Masons have similarities, in that they both want to help the sick. (I recently did some more research on the internet about Masons and could see this.) They both are involved either directly or indirectly with medicine. Because Masons help support research done on finding cures for all kinds of medical disabilities. I have had to overcome the spirits behind both of these. And I am going to say something that will sound hard, but what they try to do is be God. But the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob does not merge His power with medicine - it would consume medicine. People in the medical field and Masons (and both are sorcery and witchcraft - the Jezebel) want to be known and looked up to as people who have made an impact in this world. And Jesus is the only One who can make an impact in this world and in a person's life - and it is done through the gospel. Jesus wants to make a Christian out of us. And when that is done, we will be doing the works of Jesus - healing the sick, cleansing the lepers, raising the dead, casting out devils all through the power that raised Jesus from the dead. And that will impact the world. No flesh is going to glory in the presence of God. That includes mine and yours.
About a year ago I overcame some more of this demonic organization, and then a couple of weeks ago even more. This organization, along with many other things that Satan is behind, is so subtle and deceitful. They stand for a good cause - just a wicked spirit behind it. And that is how the devil operates and deceives people. Jesus told us to beware of his methods.
I am going to share some other things I found out about this organization. It may help you get some understanding of where I am coming from. Because there are spirits behind every one of these organizations and it is all the Jezebel spirit. It says in the bible that Jesus will expose every dark work and bring it to light.
The Masonic Lodge is a fraternal order (the oldest fraternity in the world). You know, in college they have fraternities and sororities and they are demonic, just like this is. I now know that it was God that kept me from joining a sorority in college. I went to college for one year and some of my friends joined a sorority when we were there. I had no interest or desire to be in one. And I thank God for that.
Masonry came to America from England, and there are 13,200 lodges in the United States. Many Presidents and other leaders in our land have been and are Masons. Masonry teaches that each person has a responsibility to make things better in the world. And they are deeply involved in helping people. They spend 1.4 million dollars every day doing so. You know it says that no flesh is going to glory in the presence of God. And you can give all your goods to feed the poor, and if it is not done in obedience to the Spirit of God, it will profit nothing. Love is obeying God. Go read that in I Corinthians 13.
They are men of honor and integrity who believe that things like honesty and compassion and love and trust are important. But if you are a man or woman of honesty and compassion, then you will believe the gospel; and when you believe the gospel, you will cast out devils, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead - all by the power of God. Because no flesh will glory in His presence.
To join this organization they say you must believe in a Supreme Being. (The devils believe and they tremble - James 2:19.) Their Masonic buildings are sometimes called 'temples' because much of the symbolism Masonry uses to teach its lessons comes from the building of King Solomon's Temple in the Holy Land. They take something out of the bible and apply it to their beliefs - which is an emulating spirit. And in Galatians 5, emulation is a work of the flesh. It also says in this chapter that the flesh is contrary to the Spirit - they war against each other. That is one way the devil will operate - take some truth and apply it to a situation, and make it look and sound like God. But the fact is, it is the wrong spirit.
I Corinthians 3:13-15 says that "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire." There are going to be many 'fires', because if your work is not built upon the foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ, it will burn. It is that simple.
A scripture that really sums it up, is in John 3. "And this is condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought [worked] in God."
You know, Jesus died, He was buried and He rose again. And when He was raised from the dead, He triumphed over the Masonic Lodge. He overcame it along with every other spirit. That is the power of God. And for you to overcome in your life, you will have to mix faith with the gospel. Remember, nothing is too hard for God - all things are possible if we can believe.
