Curses For Disobedience

I am going to continue on with some things I mentioned in the last gospel message of "There is No Other Gospel".  In Galatians 1:6, Paul was talking to the churches of Galatia and how he marveled that they were so soon removed from Him that had called them into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another;.....  You know, anything that you and I have been involved in and trusted in that is not the death, burial and resurrection power of the Lord Jesus is another gospel - which is not another.  And this has brought curses on us for believing and trusting in something other than the power that raised Jesus from the dead.  These curses will have to be overcome in your life by mixing your faith with the gospel.  And you may say, "How is that?  Because the gospel is the power (or ability) of God unto your salvation - to deliver you from them, if you will believe.

It says in Proverbs 26:2 that the curse causeless does not come.  And the reason behind all these curses is disobedience against God - against trusting in the power that raised Jesus from the dead.  You can this in Deuteronomy 28.  These curses can manifest in many ways.  To name a few; every kind of sickness and disease, poverty, miscarriages, car wrecks, plane wrecks, death, fears of all kind, etc.

It is God's mercy and grace that opens our heart to see the truth and it is His goodness that leads us to repentance over these things.  He could just leave us in our 'cursed' condition.  But God sent His Son to die, be buried, go to hell and be raised again for our justification, sanctification, righteousness and redemption.   Jesus came to redeem us (or loose us away) from these curses, by being made a curse for us.  And He was made a curse for us when He went to the cross to die, be buried and be raised again.

Growing up we trusted in everything but the power of God.  We trusted in doctors when we got sick, vitamins and the 'right' foods to keep us healthy, dentists when we needed our teeth cleaned or fixed, church for our religious needs to be met, savings accounts for those 'unexpected' emergencies, etc.  You get the idea.   When you stop and think about everything in your life that you did, you can see how messed up and deceived the human race is, and how far from God they are.  Not far from religion, but far from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Both my grandfathers and my dad were in the Masonic Lodge.  They were 33rd degree Masons.  And even though I was never involved in that - it was for men only, curses were passed down to me through their involvement in that demonic organization.  They are passed on from one generation to another.  I had a grandmother who went to fortune tellers when she was young - and how often I don't know, my mother read her horoscope regularly for a period of time and went to yoga classes, we had a ouija board and played with it, at slumber parties we would have seances - all this was Satan's territory.

My mother and dad divorced when I was young, and later they both ended up remarrying.  My mother married a physician (surgeon) and my dad married a woman who became a registered dietician.  More sorcery, more witchcraft, more bondage's.

And I will say here, that if all you have been involved in is church your whole life, you are just as bound and cursed by the devil as I have been.  What the majority of churches preach and teach are nothing but man's tradition, which makes God's word of none effect.  God did not ordain them.  They preach another gospel, which is not another; it is not the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.  They are deceived and they deceive you with their lies and hypocrisies.  They promise you liberty, while they themselves are servants of corruption (II Peter 2:19).

In Ephesians 4:11-13, it says that "God gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting (or completion) of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: ...."  The church that Jesus Christ is coming back after will be built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief corner stone.   His church, His Bride, will be one that has been cleansed from all of its impurities and is walking upright in this gospel.  A church that is without spot, wrinkle or blemish.  A church that is called the Body of Christ - not the 'First' Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Pentecostal, Nazarene, etc.

You need to get honest with God, because He already knows, and ask Him to show you the things in your life that have you bound.  You may be real surprised.   I know I was when I first started seeing these things.  It was a real eye-opener.  But it has become so clear to me now of how all of the things I was raised in and around were anything but the power of God - it was all disobedience, and that is why they brought curses on my life.  Jesus loves us and He proved it when He went through what He did for the human race.  And He did it so that we might have life and have it more abundantly.  What greater love is there?  "For God so loved the world, that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life."

It is time to humble ourselves and let the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob deal with our wretched hearts by letting His gospel shine on that darkness and cleanse it from all of its wickedness.  He sent Jesus to bless us in turning us from our iniquities.  And when we lay down our lives and pick up the life of the Lord Jesus Christ, He will lead us in paths of correction to restore our soul.  He is going to purify unto Himself a people that will shew forth His power and praises in the earth, so that His glory can fill the earth.  It is His desire and His will to do so.   Praise God.

Believe this gospel and see the salvation of God take place in your life this day.  Amen.
