Instructions in Righteousness II Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine (teaching the word), for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" v.17, "That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." We should take note, all scripture is given by inspiration of God. In 1970-71, God showed me a scripture that has helped me tremendously in my walk with Lord, the Apostle Paul sent to Timothy in II Timothy 2:7, "Consider what I say: and the Lord giveth thee understanding in all things." Humble yourself and consider the scripture, and God will give you understanding. Jeremiah 6:10-13, "To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the Lord is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it. v.10 Therefore I am full of the fury of the Lord; I am weary with holding in: I will pour it out upon the children abroad, and upon the assembly of young men together: for even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the aged with him that is full of days. v.11 And their houses shall be turned to others, with their fields and wives together:...............v.12 .............................everyone is given to covetousness:..." v.13 Jeremiah 8:9-12, "The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the Lord; and what wisdom is in them. v.9 Therefore will I give their wives to others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely." v. 10 For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. v.11 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the Lord." v.12 Because the men rejected the word of the Lord, and they were given to covetousness from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealt falsely. Because of these things, they only healed the hurt of the daughter of God's people slightly. In Jeremiah 8:21-22 it says, "For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me. v.21, Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?" v.22 Because of the disobedience of men, the daughters were hurt and they were not healed of their hurts. God speaking through the prophet Isaiah describes his people in Isaiah 1:5-6, "Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick and the whole heart faint. v.5 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment." v.6 Not only does the prophet Isaiah describe Israel at that point in time, but he is describing the entire present human race. When we come to Jesus our eyes will be opened, then we can see that our head is sick and our heart is faint. Only by submitting ourselves to the Lordship of Jesus, taking up our cross daily and following him, can we be healed from this sickness. Isaiah 53:4-5, "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. v.4 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." v.5 This is most certainly the cross of Jesus Christ in Isaiah 53:4-5. The cross being, the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. On the cross Jesus became the substitute for the people described in Isaiah 1:5-6 and for the rest of us as well. In September 1987, God promised me that there was coming a great deliverance of his people. During the past 18 years, I have spent much of my time wrestling with religious spirits. The mind of the Spirit through me today is raising up men to lead the church and their homes. As the men are obedient to the Spirit of the Lord, the daughters of God will be healed. Isaiah 3:8 says, "For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their (the men) tongue and their doings are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of his glory." Verse 12 says, "As for my people, children are their oppressors and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Isaiah 3:8 tells us what is wrong with the church. Prayer: "Father I pray that you pour out a spirit of grace and supplication upon all of us, that we may look upon him whom we have pierced. In Jesus name, Amen."
